743 × 400?
After a brief 2020 hiatus, we're seeing new MINI Cooper models hitting showrooms with enhanced features and capability. From Hardtop MINI models to the six-speed stick's return, you'll find plenty to love in these subcompact cars.

The Refreshed and Redesigned 2021 MINI Cooper

The 2021 Mini Cooper comes in five different trims, including both Hardtop and Convertible options. Several editions will be available to drivers in 2021, including:

  • Oxford Edition
  • Cooper Hardtop
  • Cooper S Hardtop
  • Cooper C Convertible
  • Cooper S Convertible

With this new model, we see new and improved features like better LED headlights and taillights and more safety technology. Additionally, while the Oxford Edition has not previously been available to the public, you can purchase the 2021 model without meeting special eligibility requirements.

More Power and Better Performance

When you drive the new MINI Cooper, you'll get to enjoy a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, which gives you 134 horsepower—the same as the 2019 model. However, the John Cooper Works GP version boosts your power output to 301 horsepower, higher than any previous MINI Cooper.

MINI Cooper S models offer more than the standard 189 horsepower available with the 2.0-liter engine. They can also go from zero to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds—over a second faster than the standard. You'll have no trouble navigating backroads or taking this car on the highway with its comfortable and responsive steering.

Upgraded Standard Technology

The new MINI Cooper will also come with plenty of upgraded safety and entertainment tech. Its 8.8-inch standard touchscreen makes it easy to control all of your information at your fingertips.

It also comes with automated emergency braking in the standard trim package, with adaptive cruise control and automatic high beams available. These features, along with rear parking sensors, give you more protection in the event of a collision.
